Dr. Silvia Bentancor
With over two decades of experience and recognition, Dr. Silvia Bentancor is a specialist in Internal Medicine dedicated to preventing and treating complex conditions such as diabetes, acute hypertension, respiratory failure, and heart attacks, among others.
Born in Uruguay, she demonstrated her interest in this field as early as 1994 when she earned a degree in Biology. This degree served as a foundation for her subsequent studies at the School of Medicine of the Republic of Uruguay, from which she graduated in 2003. Her training continued at the prestigious Coney Island Hospital in New York, where she succeeded as Chief Resident from 2007 to 2010.
