Dr. John Yoon
Dr. John Yoon, DO, FACS, possesses extensive experience in aesthetic surgery, osteopathic medicine, and critical surgical care, which positions him as a valuable member of the Icon Cosmetic Center team. His expertise in managing trauma and emergency cases is complemented by his commitment to providing personalized and holistic care. His career is distinguished by his recognition as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (ACS).
Dr. Yoon stands out for maintaining the highest standards of surgical excellence, supported by his multiple certifications and a solid background in robotic surgery and minimally invasive techniques. Since 2019, he has also served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of South Florida.
Dr. Yoon obtained his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He later completed his training with a residency at the prestigious St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in New Jersey and received a fellowship in surgical critical care at the University of North Carolina.
