Dr. John Yoon
Dr. John Yoon, DO, FACS, brings a wealth of experience in cosmetic surgery, osteopathic medicine, and critical surgical care, positioning him as a key asset to the Icon Cosmetic Center team. His expertise in managing trauma and emergency cases is matched by his commitment to delivering deeply personalized, holistic care. Dr. Yoon provides the highest standards of surgical excellence with multiple certifications in advanced surgical techniques and his fellowship in the prestigious American College of Surgeons (ACS).
Recognized for his exceptional technical skills in robotic surgery and body contouring cosmetic procedures, Dr. Yoon has a strong interest in research, which has led him to publish clinical studies in scientific journals and book chapters on vascular diseases, musculoskeletal medicine, pelvic trauma, and penetrating cardiac injuries. Since 2019, he has also served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of South Florida.
Dr. Yoon earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He later completed his training with a residency at the prestigious St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in New Jersey and a surgical critical care fellowship at the University of North Carolina.
